OTP eSign
Evrotrust OTP eSign combines cryptographic signatures with one-time password verification. User consents certificate issuance for electronic signature and confirms document signing with a code or link delivered via SMS, ensuring compliance with eIDAS, and other e-signature regulations.
SMS Types
Types of SMS send to end user when OTP eSign is used:
- OTP code: SMS received by the user is generated with one time code of 6 digits. The code from the SMS can be entered on a screen by the user in client application where he/she had logged in. By entering the code, the issuance of qualified OTP eSign is triggered and the signing of documents is performed by Evrotrust.
- Link: a unique link generated by Evrotrust linked to the documents sent for signing and the user. When the end-user presses on the link, he/she needs to enter knowledge information (ID document number) for additional layer of authentication, then sees the documents that need to be signed and can press “Sign”. By pressing the button, the issuance of qualified OTP eSign is triggered and the signing of the documents is performed by Evrotrust.
- Combined: with OTP code and a link
Customizations available for OTP eSign: client can decide which type of SMS can be triggered based on the process to be digitalized. When link is used client logo can also be present on the web pages.
