Biometric Verification
Biometric verification establishes that the person presenting the identification document is its lawful owner through facial feature matching and liveness confirmation.
At-a-GlancePurpose: Verify document owner identity through facial biometric matching
Technology: 3D face mapping from 100+ frames captured over 2-3 seconds
Security: Includes real-time active liveness detection to prevent spoofing
Data Protection: All biometric data is encrypted in transit and at rest within Evrotrust environment
Verification Controls
When the scan is performed, it processes the 100+ frames and then interpolates that data into a 3D facemap. Two types of data are required for every face authentication: 3D face data for matching and real-time liveness data to prove the face data was collected from a physically present person.
Face verification and liveness detection is entirely set up in secured environment of Evrotrust by secure transport of encrypted data. No PII, biometric data, photos are sent outside Evrotrust environment.
