Evrotrust Ident Lite

Evrotrust Ident Lite is a streamlined identity verification solution optimized for speed and user experience, perfect for scenarios where quick authentication is essential. This simplified service verifies user identities in just 2 steps using AI-powered document verification, facial recognition, liveness checks, and cross-referencing against official government registries. Supporting citizens from 61 nationalities with passports and/or ID cards, Ident Lite is ideal for sensitive actions like account recovery, password resets, and in-app authentication flows where fast, automated validation is needed without requiring the full legal weight of a reusable digital identity.

The Evrotrust Ident Lite service supports a simplified remote identity verification via the mobile or Web SDK integration.

This method is available in two identity verification levels:

Basic eID

Basic eID: user scans ID document and user passes face recognition.

No profile is created within Evrotrust backend (this is not a reusable identity). No manual review for the identification is performed by Evrotrust.

No QES is issued at the end of the process (user cannot continue with a signing flow & ID attributes are not covered by Evrotrust guarantee).

This method is very suitable to cover needs for existing customers re-verification to provide service as:

reset of forgotten PIN
confirm higher transaction values with high risk,
reconfirm existing user data is still valid in the system, etc.

Enhanced eID

Enhanced eID: Basic eID plus manual review and confirmation

No profile is created within Evrotrust backend (this is not a reusable identity).

QES can be issued at the end of the process (ID attributes are verified by Evrotrust).

This method is very suitable to cover needs where onetime identification of the user is needed:

regulation or internal company rules require user to pass identification each time when digital interaction is needed;
no longterm relationship is created with the user, so the electronic signing of documents is either not needed or occurs very rear in time. In this case we have e-Signature with OTP;
the user journey conserns a single transaction (one-off processes).
