Evrotrust eID is an officially notified electronic identification scheme of the Republic of Bulgaria under Article 9 of the eIDAS Regulation (EU) No 910/2014) .
The scheme is notified with two Levels of Assurance:
- Substantial
- High
This means Evrotrust eID is legally recognized across the European Union for cross-border access to public sector online services. In simple terms: If a Member State accepts notified eIDs, it must accept Evrotrust eID.
