Signing via App/SDK (Documents)

Document signing via App/SDK enables users to sign complete documents using their existing Evrotrust profile through the mobile app or SDK integration. This approach uploads full PDF documents to the Evrotrust platform, where users can review and sign them directly through their authenticated session.

This workflow is designed for organizations that want to integrate qualified electronic signatures into their applications while leveraging users' pre-existing Evrotrust identities. Users who have already completed Evrotrust's identification process can sign documents directly through the Client's application via the Evrotrust mobile app, mobile SDK, or WebSDK integration.

How it works:

The signing process follows these phases:

  1. Identity Verification: Verify the user exists in the Evrotrust system and has completed identity verification (if required)
  2. Document Upload: The Client application uploads the full PDF document(s) to Evrotrust via API
  3. Document Review & Signature: The user receives a notification, reviews the document in the Evrotrust app/SDK, and signs it
  4. Download Signed Document: The Client application retrieves the signed PDF with embedded qualified electronic signature

Key characteristics:

  • Full document handling: Complete PDFs are uploaded, displayed, and signed with embedded signatures
  • Pre-verified identities: Works with existing Evrotrust user profiles and qualified certificates
  • Document preview: Users can review the actual document content before signing
  • Real-time notifications: Users receive push notifications to sign documents immediately
  • Biometric authentication: Optional biometric confirmation for enhanced security
  • Single or batch signing: Support for signing individual documents or groups of documents in one operation
  • Multi-platform support: Available through native mobile app, mobile SDK integration, or WebSDK
  • Automated signing: Optional support for automated signatures using pre-configured certificates

This approach is ideal for organizations building customer-facing applications, portals, or services that require qualified electronic signatures on complete documents, where end-users already have or can easily obtain Evrotrust credentials through the standard registration process, and where document review and transparency are important.
